If you got a sound clip/video/whatever that shows off the sound of your exhaust, post it here! state some general specs on your engine/exhaust setup, so others can see/hear what a specific combination sounds like. **if it has bad language in it, post a warning, some of us listen at work. if it shows drinking and driving, i'll remove it without warning** i'll start: 84 Bronco II 2.8 v-6 (bored out, port and polished) duraspark ignition Holley 350 2 barrel carb flowmaster 40 series muffler (2.25") hopefully you can hear it over the power steering pump i'll replace this one with a better one someday heres a pic of my setup. yeah, it needs some work

Accuracy is just the closest estimate.
Its only metal, it puts up a good fight, but in the end it loses.

I took my exhaust off when I put in my M5OD and the muffler never made it back on as it was rusty on top. I am ordering a cutout which can be controlled manually from inside. I plan to put it right behind my cat, then follow with a muffler and pipe exitting out the side in front of the wheel. I love how it sounds now though, its so deep it will give you a headache. I've never been pulled over for it, but I always coast past cops or avoid them completely.
